Jake Worselaine
Jake is a USPTA Elite Level Coach, the highest level of certification for a professional to teach tennis with over 20 years' experience. Jake is still competing in his 40's at the national level. He is currently ranked #7 in the nation in the 40's Division & #1 in the Southwest. He has experience at every level of tennis competition, from junior tournaments to professional. Jake is also a Tournament Director with close to 100 events under his belt, from USTA Level 1 to 7 and the Girls 16 & 18 Super Nationals that is still hosted by Barnes in Southern California, San Diego.
Jake has had the pleasure to have coached beginners of all ages to professional players during his career. He has taught tennis privately and for various programs and clubs. Some previous clubs/organizations include:

Jake is currently a member of the USTA Southwest Junior Competitive Committee & Tournament Grievance Sub-committee. He also serves on the NAZ USTA Regional Advisory Committee.
- Recent recipient (2022) of the Northern Arizona Teaching Pro of the year award. Presented by USTA Northern AZ Section.
Jake and his wife Leslee reside in Sedona. They have a 3-year-old, Abbi who loves tennis and are happy to announce a new addition to the family early 2023.
Lots of exciting things happening at Poco tennis courts, keep your eyes open for a couple nationally ranked youngsters, George and Grace Hakopian. The family recently joined Poco, and train at the courts with Jake. They both are on track to make their professional tennis goals a reality.
